It's funny how things turn out, your'e almost certain you've turned away and then life puts you on a carousel and brings you back around again.
When bad things happen, it's generally a surprise, but you can understand and see how it came to be. But why is it when something good happens we tend to always question the reality of it? We pinch ourselves in disbelief, convinced it's too good to be true and as a result we search for flaws. When you go looking for a flaw, cracks or imperfections, chances are you will find it. It's easy to spot negatives in everything, the hard part is seeing the good through the bad, being the optimist not the pessimist.
"A pessimist will see a see a cup filled half way, and call it half empty - an optimist will see it and call it half full."
So why do we turn into pessimist every time something good happens to us? Why is it so hard to believe that we're in luck? Maybe the reason why we choose not to accept the reality of it is because reality normally throws us disappointments oppose to luck? But that's just life, you need the bad to have the good, black to have white, everything is a balance. We cry when bad things happen? So instead of questioning your good fortune, we should appreciate it and be happy, by doing so we complete the balance.
Embrace the optimist inside you and good fortune will only follow.
